IBAM

For the past two years iBAM directly and indirectly through a partnership with IMED and Johnson-Ferry Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, have helped start over a dozen new businesses in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.  All loans have been made in this region to former Muslims who have trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  They face persecution inside their families, from society at large, and economically.  IBAM’s program is helping these believers regain sustainability and respect in their communities, which then leads to relationships and opportunity to share the Gospel.
D is a 58 year-old woman who up until 2013 never been in business before.  After accepting Christ as her Savior she has been a member of the underground church in this ancient and historical Central Asian capital city.  D has the idea of setting up a Quail egg farm with the intention of selling eggs in the market and to restaurants each day.  After working diligently through the 3-phase program D graduated and received a loan of $1,700.  Today, twelve months later D is operating profitably and fulfilling all the goals of the program.
